Leave the details to Jackie. Deep in the weeds, Jackie reads every process, every manual and even every page of the Income Tax Act. But before finding the financial service industry, she was in fashion design – measuring twice, cutting once.

When Jackie’s not reading, she’s putting letters behind her name – starting with the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Accounting from Vancouver Island University. After becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Jackie pursued the intensive 3-year In-Depth Tax Program to specialize in Income Tax. Decoding the alphabet soup continued after she completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

At Trademark, Jackie takes the lead on personal income tax return preparation and tax planning for our clients. With her ability to file income taxes, as well as make financial projections as it relates to our client’s financial plans, she is in a unique position to provide comprehensive advice.

If she’s not in the weeds at work, you can find her outside in the backyard picking them with Ron and their two little ones – Hudson & Brooklyn. When her green thumbs aren’t dirty, they are actively creating Pinterest renovation boards for every room in the house. Ron’s honey-do-list is even organized with a FIFO system – First In, First Out.
