Time
I would venture to guess that Doc Brown, from Back to the Future, would have been an advocate of social isolation. Especially from ones own physical being as the encounter could result in one of two outcomes:
“One: coming face to face with [yourself] thirty years older would put [you] into shock and [you’d] simply pass out. Or two, the encounter could create a time paradox, the result of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe!”
But there is nothing wrong with being in regular contact with your mental wellbeing.
These internal visits back to our past experiences can help us make better decisions for our financial future. Investing is emotional. So, step back from time to time and ask, “am I making the most out of my next decision, or am I acting out of emotion?”
Take a time machine back to the headlines of the Time‘s attached. Hindsight is 2020, but the contrarian seems to survive when the media declares that the destruction of the entire universe is eminent.
